a sad, sad fortune

Today we went to China Buffet for our annual "back-to-school lunch." Punk read his fortune out loud:

Punk: "Attend to business another day, neuter your love life today."
Me: "I think the word is . . . nurture."

    The year I turned 40 I got a fortune that said, "A fool at forty is a fool indeed". I looked around to see if someone was pulling my leg or trying to be funny, but it was really just a fortune cookie out of the big box in the kitchen. I've saved that one.

    I sure hope I'm not a fool!
