stuck in our head

Aaron has been around the dance thing for way too long. He's incredibly good at not only finding songs for me, but telling me what type of dance it will work for, and what age should use it. He found this "lyrical" for me yesterday - Kooka and I - who usually share musical tastes - love this one. It's been stuck in our head all day. We dare you not to love it.

Awesome song. Is this a really cool everybody song, or does she do a lot of kids' music? When I lived in Michigan and was in charge of kids' music at the library, I found some great stuff. One I really liked was Sara Hickman- she's got a great stick-in-your-head song called Canteloupe. I guarantee you'll love it! The album is called Big Kid and has lots of other great songs on it, too. I have a feeling that Kooka might enjoy the song "I wish I were a Princess" and another one I love is "Look at me", which I think will touch your heart- I cry everytime I hear it. Another good "school" album is "Environmental Songs for Kids" by Coco Kallis. (Is there a brevity clause for blogging, by the way?) I've got some spanish stuff for kids, too, if you're interested.
